A monsoon hit the city yesterday so in place of my run I jump roped for 15 minutes (harder than you would think), lifted, and did some stationary bike for 35 minutes. When I woke up today, my calves tingled, my arms are soar, and as I rotate my trunk I feel it-yes! I must have done something right yesterday : ) Sometimes I question whether I am even challenging myself when all I do is run- so the soar feeling is almost refreshing. Actually, it made my run enjoyable today. I could feel my abs working as I climbed inclines and sprinted in stretches - yes, very nice indeed : ) |
